Why should you forgive and how is it done?
WHY AND HOW SHOULD YOU FORGIVE- to live your life in complete health and abundance?
We’ve been talking about the methods of forgiveness this week.
You shared powerful and valuable practices on how you get over hurtful situations and how you forgive. I am so happy for you.
Why did I bring the subject up this week?
The occasion of Queen Elizabeth's passing stirred up many controversial comments on my post.
I thought it was a perfect opportunity to bring up the topic of forgiveness.
Many people suffer from unforgiveness.
Most suffer silently. More suffer really loudly, but all are suffering subconsciously from their grudges.
Most people suffer because they don't know that there is such a thing as forgiveness. More people want to forgive but don't know how.
Some people hold themselves back from forgiving due to their conceit and pride. Some people are blocking themselves by fears, guilt, and undeserving factors.
Forgiving is difficult because you are stuck in the pain mindset. You cling to taking yourself over and over again on what happened and how it hurt. You are stuck on feeling the feeling. Your mind becomes dependent on pain. Searching for pain. Pain will make you blind to see anything else.
The focus on pain holds you back from going through the forgiveness process. Your mind keeps telling you a lie that you will have nothing to gain by forgiving.
Know that this is your mind and not you! This is how your mind is keeping you its prisoner.
Let me make it clear in the beginning:
Forgiving doesn’t mean that you have to continue allowing that person to do the same hurtful things to you.
You have to set the boundaries that are appropriate for you in context to the other person.
You may not want to see this person ever again. Because meeting that person is making you face your old weak self who couldn’t say no. You couldn’t stand up for the right which was within you. You believed blindly the other person and allowed the other person to hurt you. That is why so hard to forgive.
Because forgiving would mean that we have to admit that we were weak to see the truth and we were weak to stand up for our rights and we allowed the other person to hurt us. Admitting that we were responsible is the most feared step to the conditioned mind.
None who lives with unforgiveness knows that they are practicing self-inflicted pain.
They also don't realize that unforgiveness keeps them stuck in the past and unable to move forward.
Due to the unforgiveness and grudge, they live in constant craving and scarcity. They can never feel they have enough. They can never fully appreciate what they have.
What they don't realize: is that they are blind to seeing unforgiveness as the potential emotional reason behind a serious illness. Unforgiveness will make you eventually sick. Don't bet on the opposite, because you will lose.
Unforgiveness is why they cannot see the opportunity, growth, wisdom, and learning in the act of forgiveness.
They view forgiveness as a loss, as a place where they will destroy themselves and lose value and face.
So we keep bringing up stuff from the past which has been in the past for so far. You possibly have every single cell of your body changed by now as Tracey Hall-Roberts my dear friend would say, --yet you are engraving those new cells with your pain coming from your mind.
We keep staying angry, resenting, and blaming because this is the only way we have seen our parents behave.
The first thing that you need to understand -is-NONE OF THESE IS YOUR FAULT
The second thing to admit is that unforgiveness will kill you so you have to deal take it out from you. FORGIVENESS SERVES US IN EVERY SINGLE WAY FOR our health and wellness.
We must take the initiative to start the process of forgiveness.
It is necessary to eliminate it from our lives.
We have to cut ourselves off from the past's chains before we can move forward.
The third thing:
To know that the person who did whatever they did it out of fear. Some sorts of fear. They did the best that they could with the tools that they had.
You have to accept this fact:
Everyone does their best from their skillset. I AM SURE YOU HAVE TEARS IN YOUR EYES REALIZING THIS. If you were brought up the same way, you would have the same skillset.
The fourth point is:
Everyone is responsible for their acts. Either they did it blindly or with awareness.
The fifth point:
Even if they didn't learn from it. You can learn.
By putting the learnings into practice in your life you can change your faith and ultimately your destiny.
So forgiveness is not about the other person it’s about you forgiving them for not knowing.
It is very likely you also did some kind of hurtful things to yourself or other people. You will need to ask for forgiveness from them. You want them to ease up their anger on you. And you also want to ease up the suffering you put on yourself by your unforgiveness towards yourself.
You can't change the past.
Putting the learning into practice will change your now and future.
Take the hurtful event and write down all your learnings there. What else had to happen in that event and so everyone walks away with love. Be an advisor and tell them what to do.
If you write these all down forgiveness will slowly replace your grudges.
Asking others to forgive you is also a tool. Telling them " I m sorry for hurting you. I know I caused you pain" --Now tell them the list of things that you learned from that event. Now express your gratitude toward them and the learnings. Moreover, put these learnings into practice. Let them see that you can act differently.
I practice forgiveness immediately as I recognize I hurt someone.
I also forgive others immediately by taking out the learning.
I hold weekly meditation on gratitude and forgiveness every Friday.
We make sure that we transform every single thing that happened during the week into learning express.
Once you have the learnings it is easy to express gratitude towards the learning and the situation.
Remember the event had to happen for you to learn.
The forgiveness is complete when you think back, you remain grateful and peaceful.
The sixth thing to know:
What the other person did is set their karma for their future.
They pay for it in this and their next lives.
But you don't have to follow their path. Your life is your responsibility.
You being angry or having hateful thoughts towards that person, know you are going to practice something which is going to affect your karma, your future.
So it is important to consider how you want to live. Because the law of cause and effect is at work.
There is no such thing that you can justify your hateful angry behavior.
You point your finger in one direction and remember that 3 fingers are pointing back at you.
If you still have trouble with the process of forgiveness, seek professional help.
Resolve that grudge, becasue it is costing your relationships, business, health, and life.
Raising your consciousness and resolving unforgiveness will cause a change in the person who is going to be born after you with your mind.
The last thought at the time of your death will get the side push and arrive in the next person who will be born.
I hope this was an answer for all of you, who were questioning my post on Queen Elizabeth.
You should know that doesn’t matter what you have done you can always change your faith by changing your mindset and your practice right now this moment of time.
I will be here to give you the chance to make it better. I will give you the tools to help you make it up and make it better. It is only up to you if you take this help.
Whatever happened in your past you can change your faith by changing your actions your mindset now and whatever you did you will earn forgiveness.
I help you to forgive yourself so you can move forward.
You may not make it up to the people you hurt, and you will need to do a lot of service to others, and practice humbleness, and humility for what you have done in your past.
I have been hurt by many people in my life. I also hurt a lot of people in my past. I cut the pain cycle and changed my destiny. If I could come out of it so can you.
With lots of love,
Zsuzsanna Fajcsak
who will accept you and take you through the forgiveness process gently and safely. Will show you the learnings in your past which will make your future shine.
